Our family loves all the Mickey Mouse Movies, and this one is sure to be a hit for Christmas. I love it when movies help to reinforce the values that we try to teach our children. Christmas is not just about gifts, but also about being together with family and friends.

We asked our Daughter yesterday what she was thankful for and until we talked to her at length about it the response was less than pleasing. I wish there were more shows like this to help us with the lessons that we need our children to learn.

A great movie to get you and your family in the Christmas Spirit.

Tinker Bell & The Lost Treasure

9:14 PM Posted by Bits from a Brit

Tinker Bell and The Lost Treasure is a top movie pick on my Daughter's list. She even decided to dress up as Tinker Bell for Halloween after watching this movie (pictures coming soon). Tinker Bell is such a cute character and I am so happy my Daughter is all about everything Tinker Bell (anything to stay away from the Hannah Montana phase!). It was also great to learn about all Tinker Bell's friends, other than Peter Pan.

This movie should be on your Christmas list for any young girls in your family.

This movie was released October 27th, get your copy now!

BURBANK, Calif. June 4, 2009 – In 2008 audiences around the globe re-discovered and fell in love with one of the world’s most iconic characters, as Walt Disney Pictures launched the breathtaking origin story of a beloved character in the fantastic all-new animated adventure -- Tinker Bell, the debut film in the exciting new “Disney Fairies” movie series. The delightful tale thrilled audiences of all ages, soaring to reach the year’s number one spot as the biggest Direct- To-DVD release of 2008.* Releasing on October 27, 2009, the enchanting pixie-dusted tale continues in an even more action-packed adventure, as Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure delightfully expands the world of fairies and takes Tink far beyond Pixie Hollow in an original full- length CG animated film that flies to Blu-ray (“Combo Pack” Blu-ray +DVD) and standard def DVD.

In the original Tinker Bell, for the first time ever, fans heard Tink’s voice, met her fabulous fairy friends, got a glimpse into the world of Pixie Hollow and learned about her true origins and the unexplainable, mystical wonders of nature. Produced by DisneyToon Studios, Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure is the highly anticipated second film in the continuing Disney Fairies Franchise and a captivating story that continues the overwhelmingly popular adventures through breathtaking animation, spectacular music and an all-star cast of voice talents.

In Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure Tinker Bell’s greatest adventure yet takes place in Autumn, as the fairies are on the mainland changing the colors of the leaves, tending to pumpkin patches, and helping geese fly south for the winter. The rare Blue Moon will rise, and when its light passes through the magical Fall Scepter that Tinker Bell has been summoned to create, Pixie Hollow’s supply of pixie dust will be restored. But when Tinker Bell accidentally puts all of Pixie Hollow in jeopardy, she must venture out across the sea on a secret quest to set things right. Along her journey Tink meets new friends, including Blaze, a cute and courageous firefly that helps Tinker Bell complete her mission. It’s a long and dangerous journey, full of astonishing encounters, a few narrow escapes and a daring rescue by Tink’s friend Terence. Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure is an exciting adventure and a once-in-a-blue-moon experience for the entire family.

Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

Check out this awesome movie!!! Me and my hubby couldn't stop laughing. I loved all the Ice Age Movies but I think this one is my favorite. It makes for a great family movie night that keeps the kids entertained as well as the adults. Many family movies can be a little boring for adults, especially the Dads, but this one should not be missed. Already a favorite in our house, it will be watched many times during the cold "stay in the house" winter days that are coming soon!!

It was released on DVD and Blue Ray on 10/27/09 so get your copy today!

We were sent a promotional copy of the movie to review it and let you know what we think of it.

LOS ANGELES, CA. – Get ready, for the dawn of a new age! Manny, Sid, Diego and Ellie are back for more pre-hysterical hijinks when Ice Age: Dawn Of The Dinosaurs stomps onto Three-Disc Blu-ray Disc/DVD Combo Pack October 27 from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. The third film in the outrageously popular Ice Age franchise, the sub-zero heroes return another wild and fun adventure. On a mission to rescue the hapless Sid, the gang ventures into a mysterious underground world, where they have some close encounters with dinosaurs, battle flora and fauna, run amuck, and meet a relentless, one-eyed dino-hunting weasel named Buck.
