Braincandy Kids - Contest!

11:05 AM Posted by Bits from a Brit

We recently had the chance to check out this great set of DVD's from Braincandy and Alex loved them! They capture her attention, which is a major accomplishment with my toddler! The moment she sat down do watch the first one her eyes were glued to the TV, which is not considered to be a good thing for a small child but with these great educational DVD's you know your child is learning and her imagination is running wild. As Parents, especially with toddlers running around, we all know that a few minutes of our kids sitting still and being entertained is a necessary thing to keep our sanity, and now you don't need to feel guilty about letting them! These DVD's teach children while entertaining them and keep their attention. We love educational DVD's and we highly support Braincandy. They are stimulating and educational - what more could you want from a childs DVD?

There are five titles available in the series – Hear My World, See My World, Smell My world, Taste My World and Touch My World. Along with real children doing real things, each of the DVDs also includes members of The Sense Gang – Bruce Brain, Ivy Eyes, Ana Ear, Nusi Nose, Mojo Mouth and Harry Hand.

Braincandy has been generous enough to offer an entire set of Braincandy Senses DVDs to one winner for this giveaway. To enter you’ll need to go check out the Braincandy website and go to the Braincandy online store. Take a look at each of the 5 DVDs in the series and leave a comment on this post telling me which DVD you’d like most to share with your child and why. Please leave all entries in one comment, and don't forget to include your email address. GOOD LUCK!

They are also offering a 15% discount for all our readers, please use promo code: bitsbrits

The Story about Braincandy from their site!

Braincandy is a Seattle based children’s media company whose mission is to create educationally inventive, enriching, entertaining products that help young children learn about themselves as they fully experience the world around them. Young children are amazing! They come into the world ready to be challenged and to learn. Our vision is to create products that continue to provide opportunities for them to grow through experience and active play. Throughout our content we weave positive, encouraging examples and images of young children, puppets and animation all of which motivate young children to interact and participate. The content in Braincandy begins to lay the foundation for healthy social, emotional and physical development. At Braincandy, we’re developing products that stimulate the imagination and build on these pillars of early childhood development. Braincandy is... smart food for hungry little minds.

I just started teaching my son all about the senses, so these would be a great teaching tool. The Taste My World DVD looks fun, and I'd love to share it with him in hopes that it'll encourage him to try new foods. Thanks for the giveaway!

I really love all of them but I think I'd choose See my World because that's the sense I take for granted the least. My vision is not good at all and I rely on glasses so I'm very appreciate for sight in general.
Thanks for having this wonderful giveaway.

I would love to share smell my world with my daughter because right now she is discovering that she can smell things and her nose crinkles up when she does it and then she starts laughing. :)
